Bob Carpenter

​CEO.  Bob was Tracy Newsome's Journeymen when he worked for Art Plumbing in Atlanta, GA.  Bob is a member of UA Plumbers and Steamfitter Local 630, West Palm Beach, FL.  He is the Outreach & Education Manager, USA for Reliance Worldwide Corporation.

Bryan Hammons, Jr.  Vice-President and Co-Director of Operations in Florida.  Bryan is co-owner of Plumbing by Paul.  He has been in the Plumbing Industry for 18 years and manages one of the largest Plumbing related groups on FaceBook with over 20,000 members.

James Reeves, Jr.
President and Co-Director of Operations in Georgia.  James is a Veteran of the US Navy.  James is the Outside Sales Manager for the State of Georgia for McKee-Nix and Associates.

Wayne Brown
Vice-President and Director of Operations in Alabama. Wayne is a retired Plumber from UA Local 91 in Birmingham, AL.  Wayne is very passionate about our cause and is the founder of our Bass Tournaments.

Lance Streetman
Vice-President and Co-Director of Operations in Georgia.  Lance is a Superintendent for Johnson Controls and a member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 72 in Atlanta, GA

Tracy knew what it was like to grow up in a tough situation. He would go around the jobsites and collect whatever people could spare to put shoes on "those babies' feet".  He felt so fortunate to be able to impact the lives of others with the help of his fellow craftsmen.

UCCSD, Inc. History

2005 - Tracy Allen Newsome begins collecting donations from his fellow Craftsmen to put "shoes on those babies' feet".        

2009 -Tracy is killed in a tragic car wreck on his way home from his job as a Journeyman Plumber, running Cast Iron  for Art Plumbing, at the New International Terminal at Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.  His co-workers raise $3000.00 and deliver it to his widow at the Memorial Service.  His widow asks Bob Carpenter if there is any way he could help with the Shoe Drive.  Bob Carpenter agrees and calls on friends to make sure the Shoe Drive continues.

2012 - The TAN Shoe Drive becomes the United Craftsmen Children's Shoe Drive, Inc., a 501 (C) 3. Federally Recognized, Non-Profit Charity incorporated in the State of Georgia.

2014UCCSD, Inc. expands to Birmingham, AL thanks to Wayne Brown, Timmy Dorminey, Jeff Harrison, and Davey Bailey who created our Bass Fishing Tournament.  We also launch the Online Auction thanks to Heather Coggins.

2015 - UCCSD, Inc. hosts its Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament at Bear's Best in Atlanta, GA.

2016 - Beth Orton joins UCCSD, Inc. and creates the Dance Party Fundraiser hosted at Old Car Heaven in Birmingham, AL.  Music provided by StreetKar and BBQ provided by Rusty's BBQ.

2017 - UCCSD expands to Daytona Beach, FL with the help of David Fitzgerald, Brett Mirsky and UA Local 295.  We also expand to Tulsa, OK with the help of Danny Hendrix and the members of Pipeliners Local 798.
